India is a country with huge population to the term of 135 Cr and it requires lot many health care professional like Doctors, Nursing Professional, Physiotherapy, Lab Technician, X-Ray Technician, CT-Technician, OT-Technician, and ICU Staff etc.

UN suggest that the doctor to patient ratio in a country should be 1:1000 where in India the ratio is 1:1900 and is a situation with paramedical staff also .This is a huge gap when demand and supply of the transepts to be raised that can make the whole medical infrastructure indicate to meet the need of the society. This is still vast area where don’t have good medical facilities in the vicinity of even 200 km. The problem is more evident particularly for Construction Site Workers, Organized Labors, Farmers, Urban Slum and Rural Areas.
At Gautam Budh Healthcare Foundation our aim is to prepare health care professionals and provide basic health care facilities to the Construction Site workers, Hit and Run Victims, Poor Section of the society, Villages and Urban Slum.

About Us
Gautam Budh Healthcare Foundation is a dream of Dr. V.S. Chauhan and Dr. Sangeeta Chauhan established in 2nd August 2001. They feel a person should not be denied basic health care due to circumstances beyond their control and lack of privileges. We believe in a holistic approach of social work wherein the basic needs of an individual are taken care of. It is for this reason that we work on Healthcare, skill development, awareness campaigns about sexual and menstrual health, education as well as providing counselling for parents of disabled children.

Since my Medical College days , I realised that we are short of healthcare workers like technicians in different departments , staff nurses , physiotherapists , even trained GDA and of course doctors also . Beside shortage of health care workers, people are not aware of health problems and poverty is an added factor which complicates the situation further. As medical students we participated in health camps and observed that even common treatment and common preventive advice at the door step helps masses to a large extent. I am sure for such a vast population and such a vast nation we can’t expect only government to do everything. We all have to contribute our small share whatever we can do for the masses. We are continuously producing health care workers for last more than 15 years in different fields .
We are conducting camps for everyone providing basic treatment, surgical procedures free of cost continuously for last more than 20 yrs . We must have conducted hundreds and hundreds of camps We have done any number of cataract surgeries, surgeries to correct deformities, surgeries for cleft lips and palates , surgeries for acid thrown injuries and contracture free of cost .We have worked and still working for hit and run victims .We are training youths through skill development programs in different areas. List is endless. Targets are endless. It gives me immense satisfaction what we could achieve but it gives me challenges as well to do even more and more . Being a female I could realise the importance of educating a female child . It gives you strength and confidence that they can compete with their male counterparts. Education enhances their value and position in the family. They can fight for their rights with conviction. In our institutes we always prefer females students and it gives me immense pleasure when I see my ex. college students to support their families with immense confidence. These institutions are not business for us rather they are temples of service. Our aim is to produce more and more highly trained youths in health care sector so that they can be real assets in our fight against health care problems. We have tie up with best of hospitals including medical colleges for the best hand on training upon patients. It’s a long path but our enthusiasm is ever increasing. It is added further when we see the smile of success on the faces of our students.

It is the responsibility of the government to provide health to all. It is such a large population it is not possible. we need more Health Care workers, nurses physiotherapist, technicians, lab technicians, ICU technicians, dialysis technicians to name a few. We need more doctors to treat our population. Keeping all these things in mind this Trust was founded by our managing trustee doctor Vijay Singh Chauhan an eminent orthopaedician in the area.

An eminent scholar in her own right, she has been instrumental in the creation and implementation of all charitable activities. Dr. Sangeeta is an ardent believer of the WHO slogan “Health for All”. Her heart goes out to the people suffering from a lack of basic amenities of a clean environment. Trapped in a cycle of poverty due to illiteracy and poor family planning, people continue to suffer this is why Dr. Sangeeta made it a point to also do regular awareness campaigns that facilitates an individuals growth and helps them become confident in their sense of self.
