About Us
Gautam Budh Health Care Foundation is a registered charitable trust which was founded in 2001 with the purpose of providing health care and health care education and health care skills to the lower and middle strata of the society . Dr. Vijay Singh Chauhan an eminent Orthopaedic Surgeon , philanthropist and Dr (Mrs ) Sangeeta Chauhan an eminent educationist are the trustees of the this trust . We are exempted under 80G and 12 A .
Why this trust was founded & what was the very purpose of this trust? Since his medical school days our founder felt that there is not only scarcity of health facilities but there is scarcity of health care workers and educators also . Poverty adds further the plight of masses . They are suffering because of lack of even minimum health care facilities. He saw the plight of hit and run victims being brought to the casualty without any money and even without any address . He saw the suffering of construction site workers , who don’t even have an address. They shift from site to site . He saw the suffering of physically challenged children and their parents . He saw the suffering of urban and rural poor , who can’t afford even basic minimum treatment.
He was also sure that with such a large population of the country; it’s not possible for the government only to look after everyone so some and even more individuals must come forward to share the burden of these responsibilities.
Now this foundation is continuously growing to provide more and more to cover it’s sacred and unlimited goals.
Besides providing and organising lot of health care activities, health awareness activities, we came up with Prakash Institute of Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation & Allied Medical Sciences in Greater Noida way back in 2004 – 2005 . This is a premiere institute in the field of Nursing & Physiotherapy along with BMLT and Diploma Courses in O. T. Technology, C. T. Technology & Dialysis.
Ayurveda is an fast emerging ancient science so we decided to spread Ayurveda and came up with Prakash Institute of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences & Research in 2015 -2016 . This institute is not only providing BAMS ( Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences ) course but also spreading Ayurveda village to village and town to town in Bulandsahar & Gautam Budh Nagar and providing free OPD , highly subsidised diagnostic services , free to highly subsidised indoor and OPD treatment.
We have also come up with a 100 bedded , multi specialty hospital that is Prakash Hospital, Greater Noida . We commissioned this hospital in July 2020 and it has served society in 1st & 2nd Covid waves and provided highly professional services in such a difficult time . We have been one of very few hospitals who worked tirelessly in such a difficult situation.
We are also running Skill Development Programs in association with UPSDM & PMKVY and giving free training to youths in highly job oriented courses.
We subside healthcare cost , we provide scholarships, we subsidise education, we work for better environment, we work for poor , we work for physically and mentally challenged . We are always there for the benefit and upliftment of the society as a whole .

We with the help of our doctors from Prakash Group of Hospitals and institutions have been working tirelessly on upliftment of society in the fields of education, healthcare, and skill development for the past 20 years.

We need more doctors to treat our population. Keeping all these things in mind this Trust was founded by our managing trustee doctor Vijay Singh Chauhan an eminent orthopaedician in the area.

An eminent scholar in her own right, she has been instrumental in the creation and implementation of all charitable activities. Dr. Sangeeta is an ardent believer of the WHO slogan “Health for All”. Her heart goes out to the people suffering from a lack of basic amenities of a clean environment. Trapped in a cycle of poverty due to illiteracy and poor family planning, people continue to suffer this is why Dr. Sangeeta made it a point to also do regular awareness campaigns that facilitates an individuals growth and helps them become confident in their sense of self.
